Some results on space-like self-shrinkers (Q256408)

The authors prove rigidity results for \(n\)-dimensional space-like shrinkers \(M\) in pseudo-Euclidean space \(R^{m+n}_n\) as follows. If \(M\) is closed and for the mean curvature \(H\) and the norm-square \(z\) of the pseudo-distance the condition \(|H|^2\leq e^{\alpha z}\) holds for some constant \(\alpha<1/8\) then \(M\) is an affine plane. The same holds if \(\ln w\leq e^{\alpha d^2(p,x)}\) for the \(w\)-function (related to the image of the Gauss map) and \(\alpha<1/2\).
