The authors construct a domain of holomorphy of the solution depending only on that of the data and of the spectral matrix of the Goursat problem. Next, they study the particular Goursat problems which are concerned with the Cauchy problem with singular data. The authors employ a majorant function defined by the differential equation as \textit{J. Leray} has done in [Bull. Soc. Math., France 85, 389-429 (1957; Zbl 0108.09501)].
