In Hamiltonian dynamics, quasiperiodic motions fill up an invariant torus densely. Integrable Hamiltonian systems are such that all motions are confined to invariant tori. There are other Hamiltonian systems with chaotic dynamics. There are also Hamiltonian systems in between, i.e., such that have invariant tori with quasiperiodic motions and also layers with chaotic dynamics. According to KAM theory this behaviour is persistent under small Hamiltonian perturbations. It is also known that in such a system the quasiperiodic tori form a Cantor set. This book is devoted to the study of this phenomenon in contexts different from the Hamiltonian one, namely in case of reversible, of volume preserving, and of general dissipative systems. In some cases unfolding parameters are to be introduced into the system in order to stabilize its behaviour (in the structural sense). Besides presenting the theory in a concise way, the great merit of this book is its quasi-comprehensive bibliography consisting of 364 items.
