On implicative semigroups (Q2564842)

Implicative commutative semigroups were first investigated by the reviewer and M. W. Chan. In this paper, the authors introduce the notion of strong filters in implicative semigroups and study the homomorphisms of such semigroups. A correspondence between the convex congruences and the set of strong filters on implicative semigroups is established. Some results of \textit{M. W. Chan} and \textit{K. P. Shum} [Semigroup Forum 46, No. 1, 7-15 (1993; Zbl 0776.06012)] are consequently strengthened.
