The authors consider three bodies \(M_1, M_2\) and \(M\) with masses \(m_1\geq m_2\gg m\), in which \(M_1\) and \(M_2\) are oblate spheroids. The linear stability and first-order normalization are studied in the planar restricted three-body problem, when distances from centers of mass of finite bodies to infinitesimal body are the same.
