The author presents a geometric interpretation of Ungar's addition operation in his construction of a gyro-group \((G, \oplus)\). Ungar's addition \(\oplus\) is presented as a geometrical composition of reflections. Further, in the hyperbolic geometry, the angle of gyration is shown to correspond to the defect of a certain triangle. A geometric interpretation of \(\boxplus\), an operation dual to \(\oplus\), is also given. By using his decomposition of \(\oplus\) into reflections, the author shows that the two known gyro-group structures in higher dimensional balls are identical.
