The authors prove that a hypersurface in the unit \(5\)-sphere which is minimal and Willmore and also has constant scalar curvature is isoparametric. Moreover, it belongs to the following list: the equatorial sphere, the Clifford ``torus'' (a product of two two-spheres with the same radii) with two principal curvatures, the Cartan hypersurfaces with four principal curvatures. This implies that the squared norm of the second fundamental form equals 0, 4 or 12. The latter result gives a partial answer to a question by Chern: What is the set of possible values of the constant scalar curvature for minimal hypersurfaces with constant scalar curvature in the unit spheres?
