In 1994 G. Felder introduced the elliptic dynamical quantum groups and wrote the dynamical quantum Yang-Baxter equation. The quantum KZ (\(q\)-KZ) equation was introduced by Frenkel-Reshetikhin and the conjecture was stated: connection matrices for the \(q\)-KZ equation are \(R\)-matrices for Felder's elliptic quantum groups. This conjecture could be considered as a variant of Drinfeld-Kohno theorem for \(q\)-KZ equations. Different approaches to the proof of this conjecture were developed. One of them is the exchange construction (Etingof-Varchenko, 99). Using this approach, it is possible to derive the general formulation of the conjecture in a very simple special case -- the tensor product of two copies of the vector representation of \(\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1}\). The development of this special case in full detail is the main goal of the paper under review. In sec. 1 the necessary definitions and some known facts are presented and the characterization of the main results are given. There are the formula for exchange matrix and the sequence of gauge transformations that transforms it into Felder's solution. The other sections contain the proofs of these results. The most interesting moments of these proofs are the calculations of the action of the universal \(R\)-matrix of \(U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1})\) on the product of vector representations and of the solution to the \(q\)-KZ equation, and also the application of the exchange construction to obtain the elliptic dynamical \(R\)-matrix. Some details of calculations are contained in Appendices.
