The authors discuss point values of Boehmians and in the consequence assert that there is an error in the proof of Theorem 2.4 of the paper by \textit{P. Mikusinski} and \textit{M. Tighiouart} [Rocky Mt. J. Math. 24, No. 3, 1039--1054 (1994; Zbl 0813.44007)]. They also produce a counterexample in support of their assertion.
