This paper discusses a very special subclass, \(M_p(A,B,b,n)\), of functions which are \(p\)-valent in the unit disk. These are functions of the form \(f(z) = z^p - \sum_{k=1}^\infty a_{p+k} z^{p+k}\), with all \(a_{p+k} \geq 0\). Here \(p\) and \(n\) are integers with \(p>0\) and \(n \geq 0\). \(A\) and \(B\) are real numbers with \(-1 \leq B < A \leq 1\), and \(b\) is a complex number with \(\text{Re}\, b > 0\). The introduction of the paper seems to be a bit garbled since the non-negativity of the \(a_k\) is only mentioned in the title of the paper and this class is certainly not a sub-class of what they define as \(S\). The class \(M_p(A,B,b,n)\) is defined to be the set of all \(f(z)\), analytic in the unit disk with \(1 + (1/b)((z^p - h(z))'/(z^p - h(z)) - p) \prec (1+Az)/(1+Bz)\) where \(h(z) = \sum_{k=1}^\infty c_k z^k\) with \(c_k = C_{p,k}(n) a_{p+k}\) and \(C_{p,k}(n) = (n+p+k)!/((n+p)!k!)\). As the authors show in the course of their proof of their Theorem 2.1, \(f \in M_p(A,B,b,n)\) if and only if \(| zh'(z)| \leq | b(A-B) - b(A-B)h(z) + Bzh'(z)| \). The results of this paper depend almost completely on Theorem 2.1 which states that \(f \in M_p(A,B,b,n)\) if and only if \(\sum_{k=1}[k + | b(A-B) - Bk| ] | c_k| \leq | b| (A-B)\). The proof of this theorem could have been made clearer but seems to be correct. The paper then continues with the usual set of distortion, coefficient estimates, radii of starlikeness and the like, and fractional calculus theorems.
