The author characterizes isometries of the Bergman space \(L_a^p(\Omega)\), where \(p \in (0, \infty)\), \(p \neq 2\), and \(\Omega\) is a bounded symmetric domain. He further proves that a pair of Toeplitz operators \(T_f\) and \(T_g\) is isometrically equivalent if and only if there is an automorphism \(\tau\) of \(\Omega\) such that \(g=f\circ \tau\).
