The authors introduce a method to evaluate approximate particular solutions to constant coefficient linear boundary value problems by using the Sloan hyperinterpolation, fast Fourier transform and a mesh-free method. The special features of the method are that a close form of particular solutions can be easily obtained and the matrix formulation for evaluating particular solutions is not required. The method of fundamental solutions is applied to solve the boundary value problems. Several numerical tests show the computational efficiency.
