The authors prove the existence of at least one solution of the equation \[ u'''=f(t,u,u',u'') \] coupled with the boundary value conditions \[ u(a)=A,\;u''(a)=B; \;u''(b)=C \quad\text{or}\quad u(a)=A,\;c_1u'(a)-c_2u''(a)=B,\;c_3u'(b)-c_4u''(b)=C, \] where \(A,\) \(B\), \(C \in {\mathbb R}\) and \(c_i>0\) for \(i=1,\dots ,4\). The function \(f:[a,b]\times {\mathbb R}^3\to {\mathbb R}\) is continuous and satisfies the one-sided Nagumo condition \[ f(t,x,y,z)\leq \varphi (| z| ), \] where \(\varphi\) is a continuous function such that \[ \int_0^{\infty}{\frac{\xi}{\varphi (\xi)}\,d\xi} =+\infty . \] They prove that if there exists a pair of lower and upper solutions \(\alpha\), \(\beta\) such that \(\alpha '\leq \beta '\), then there is a solution \(u\) of the considered problems such that \(u \in [\alpha,\beta]\) and \(u' \in [\alpha',\beta']\). The results are proved by using degree theory. Some interesting examples for functions nonbounded from below are given at the end of the paper.
