    The authors study the existence of positive solutions to the three-point boundary value problem for a nonlinear functional dynamic equation on a time scale. Using the Krasnoselskii-Guo fixed-point theorem on cone compression and expansion, they obtain several conditions which imply that the following eigenvalue problem \[ \begin{aligned} &u^{\Delta \nabla}(t) + \lambda a(t) f(u(t), u(\theta(t)) = 0, \;\;t \in(0,T)_{\mathbb T},\\ &u(0) = 0,\;\;\alpha u(\eta) = u(T),\\ &u(s) = \varphi(s),\;\;s\in[-r,0]_{\mathbb T}, \end{aligned} \] has at least one positive solution.
