    The initial boundary value problem is considered \[ \begin{aligned} &\frac{\partial v }{\partial t }-\Delta v+\nabla p=0,\quad \text{div\,}v=0 \quad x\in \mathbb R^n_+\times (0,T)\\ &v(x',0,t)=0,\quad x'\in \mathbb R^{n-1},\;t\in (0,T) \tag{1}\\ &\lim\limits_{| x| \to\infty}v(x,t)=0,\quad v(x,0)=v_0(x,)\quad x\in \mathbb R^n_+. \end{aligned} \] Here \(\mathbb R^n_+=\{x=(x',x_n): x'\in \mathbb R^{n-1},\;x_n>0\},\;n\geq 3\). The existence and uniqueness of smooth solutions of the problem (1) is studied. Let be \[ v_0\in C(\overline {\mathbb R^n_+}),\quad v_0(x',0)=0,\quad \lim\limits_{| x| \to\infty}v_0(x)=0,\quad \text{div\,}v_0=0. \] Then the problem (1)has a unique solution \((v,p)\) such for any \(T>0,\;\delta\in(0,T)\) and \(\alpha\in(0,1)\) \[ \begin{aligned} &v\in C(0,T;C(\overline {\mathbb R^n_+}))\cap C(\delta,T;C^{2+\alpha}(\overline {\mathbb R^n_+})),\\ &\nabla p,\,\frac{\partial v }{\partial t }\in C(\delta,T;C^{\alpha}(\overline {\mathbb R^n_+})),\quad \lim\limits_{t\to0+}v(x,t)=v_0(x).\end{aligned} \] Here \(C^{l+\alpha}(\overline {\mathbb R^n_+})\), \(l\geq0\) is integer, are Hölder spaces. Norms of \(v\) and \(p\) are estimated via certain negative powers of \(t\) multiplied by the \(\sup_{\mathbb R^n_+}| v_0(x)| \).
