This paper provides explicit bounds on the rate of convergence in the central limit theorem for non-degenerate U-statistics. The bounds are in terms of moment conditions on the canonical functions in the Hoeffding decomposition of the statistic. The results are closely related to the work by \textit{Y. Borovskikh} [``Sharp estimates of the rate of convergence for U-statistics'' (Technical Report 98-21, Univ. Sydney, 1998)].
