Characteristic polynomials of digraphs having a semi-free action (Q2568368)

The characteristic polynomial of a finite digraph \(\Gamma\) having a semi-free action \(\phi\) is expressed as a product of the characteristic polynomial of its front divisor \(\Gamma/\pi(\phi)\) and polynomials associated with the free part of \(\Gamma\) under \(\phi\). These results extend earlier results of \textit{J. Lee} and \textit{H. K. Kim} [Linear Algebra Appl. 307, 35--46 (2000; Zbl 0991.05072)].
