The authors deal with a system of two nonlinear ordinary differential equations with singularity at \(t=0\), which arises when looking for radically symmetric solutions for certain nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations involving \(p\)-Laplacian and pseudo \(p-\)Laplacian. Various types of singularities (weak singularity, singularity and super singularity) are considered and, for each case, the equivalent integral form of the system are given. Using these integral forms, the authors show how to choose the initial conditions (at \(t=0\)) such that the corresponding Cauchy problem should have a continuously differentiable solution.
