For a given weighted integral on \([-1,1]\), Gauss-Turán formulas or quadrature formulas with the highest degree of algebraic precision with multiple nodes, have been extensively studied in the last decades both from an algebraic and numerical point of view. In the paper under review, following standard techniques [as shown in \textit{D. B. Hunter}, BIT 35, No. 1, 64--82 (1995; Zbl 0825.41032)] error expressions for the Gauss-Turán formulas are given when dealing with certain weight functions related to the well-known Chebyshev-type weight functions and provided that the integrand is an analytic function inside an ellipse with foci at the points \(\pm 1\) and whose sum of semiaxes is greater than \(1\). These error expressions enable to obtain computable error bounds. In this respect, numerical illustrations are given.
