Let a finite supersoluble group \(A\) act coprimely on a finite soluble group \(G\) such that the fixed point subgroup \(C_G(A)\) normalizes every \(A\)-invariant Sylow subgroup of \(G\); \(h(G)\) be the Fitting height of \(G\), and \(k(A)\) the composition length of \(A\). The main result of the article is the following theorem. Let \(G\) be a solvable \(A\)-nilpotent group, where \(A\) is supersoluble and no section of \(A\) is isomorphic to \(Z_r\wr Z_8\) or to \(GN(p^{q^r})\) for any prime \(p\) dividing \(|G|\). Then \(h(g)\leq k(A)+1\).
