The author studies Tietze-type theorems for continuous maps from \({\mathbb Z}^{n}\) to \(\mathbb Z\), where \(\mathbb Z\) has the Khalimsky topology, that is, the topology generated by the subbase \(\{\{2n-1,2n,2n+1\}:n\in{\mathbb Z}\}\) and \({\mathbb Z}^{n}\) has the product Khalimsky topology. The two main results of the article are: 1) For any \(A\subseteq {\mathbb Z}^{n}\), a characterization of those maps \(f: A \to \mathbb Z\) which can be extended to \({\mathbb Z}^{n}\), and 2) A characterization of those sets \(B\subseteq {\mathbb Z}^{2}\) for which every continuous function from \(B\) to \(\mathbb Z\) can be extended to \({\mathbb Z}^{2}\). Reviewers remark: All terms used in this article are clearly defined, but it should be noted that some of them are not standard. Specifically, the terms ``Graph-connected'', ``Graph connecting \(a\) and \(b\)'' and ``Separately continuous function'' do not have their usual meanings.
