The author considers the quasilinear Cauchy problem: \[ \sum_{|\alpha|= 2} F_\alpha(x, u,\nabla_x u) D^\alpha_x u+ f(x,u,\nabla_x u)= 0, \] \[ u(0,x')= u_0(x'),\qquad D_{x_1} u(0,x')= u_1(x'), \] where \(x= (x_1,x')\) belongs to a neighborhood of the origin in \(\mathbb{C}^n\). The nonlinearities \(F\) and \(f\) are holomorphic, whereas the initial data \(u_0(x')\), \(u_1(x')\) are assumed to be holomorphic outside the submanifold of the initial manifold given by \(x_1= 0\) , \(x_2= 0\). The initial manifold \(x_1= 0\) is assumed to be non-characteristic. The author studies the solution \(u(x)\) describing the propagation in the complex domain of the initial singularities at \(x_1= 0\), \(x_2= 0\). For corresponding results in the linear case, see for example \textit{C. Wagschal} [J. Math. Pur. Appl., IX. Sér. 51, 375--397 (1972; Zbl 0242.35016)].
