This paper is devoted to the Euler equations in a 2D and 3D channel with the non-penetration boundary condition. The author first proves the existence and uniqueness of classical solutions for all times in a 2D channel corresponding to the non-penetration condition in the direction normal to the wall and space periodicity in the other direction. To this end, the author uses the Schauder fixed point argument and specific properties of the Green function for a two dimensional channel. The idea of proving the local existence in the 3D case is based on a priori estimates in some appropriate Sobolev spaces, and the existence of a solution follows by the Galerkin method.
