Let \(G\) be a finite group. We say that \(G\) is a \(\mathcal C\)-group, if for every subgroup \(H\) of \(G\), there is a subgroup \(K\) of \(G\) such that \(G=HK\) and \(H\cap K=1\). We define, depending on a subgroup-theoretical property \(\mathcal P\), the family \(\mathcal{\overline PC}\) of the groups in which every subgroup that does not satisfy \(\mathcal P\) is permutably complemented. \(\mathcal{\overline PC}\) will contain the family \([\mathcal P]\) of the groups in which every subgroup satisfies the property \(\mathcal P\). The properties of normality, permutability and modularity will be indicated respectively with the letters \(n\), \(q\) and \(m\). In the paper under review, the author finds the structure of the \(\mathcal{\overline PC}\)-groups which of course are neither \(\mathcal C\)- nor \([\mathcal P]\)-groups. The family of \(\overline n\mathcal C\) was already characterized by \textit{V. A. Sheriev} [in Sib. Math. J. 8, 147-160 (1967); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 8, 195-212 (1967; Zbl 0275.20034)] and by \textit{Yu. M. Gorchakov} and \textit{V. A. Sheriev} [in Sib. Mat. Zh. 6, 1234-1253 (1965; Zbl 0258.20023)]. Also, the author proves that nonhamiltonian groups in \(\overline q\mathcal C\), \(\overline n\mathcal C\) are (up to an elementary Abelian direct factor) some minimal nonmodular 2-groups and some splitting extensions of these groups by a group of order two.
