By means of Mawhin's coincidence degree theory, sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of at least one periodic solution to the nonlinear ordinary differential equation of order \(n\) with \(p\)-Laplacian \[ [\phi(x^{(n-1)})]'= f(t, x(t), x'(t),\dots, x^{(n-1)}(t)),\quad t\in (0,T). \] Here, \(n\geq 2\), the function \(f\) is continuous, \(\phi(x)= |x|^{p-2} x\) for \(x\neq 0\) and \(\phi(0)= 0\) with constant \(p> 1\). In particular, the right-hand side \(f\) may be a polynomial with degree of some variable larger than 1.
