The author uses his first reference [\textit{D. Kalman}, Fibonacci Q. 20, 73--76 (1982; Zbl 0472.10016)] to present \(k\) sequences of Fibonacci numbers by matrices. He then uses inductive arguments along with some of the properties of determinants to evaluate the determinants of the matrices involved in the presentation of the \(k\) sequences of Fibonacci numbers.
