A Leray--Schauder alternative for weakly-strongly sequentially continuous weakly compact maps (Q2570905)

The present paper presents some new results of the fixed point theory for weakly sequentially upper semicontinuous mappings on locally convex Hausdorff topological spaces. The authors prove some theorems of the same type, modifying additional conditions. One of them (Theorem 2.12) with special conditions they just call ``a new applicable Leray--Schauder alternative''. In the last section of the paper, the authors show ``how easily Theorem 2.12 can be applied in practice''.
