The authors consider the phenomenon, called self-induced stochastic resonance, arising in nonlinear dynamical systems under small random perturbations and resulting in an almost deterministic periodic behaviour of the system. The system is not required to be close to the threshold of bifurcation. The quantitative analysis of the phenomenon is performed on the example of the Brusselator and illustrated by a number of numerical simulations.
