Constrained space curve interpolation with constraint planes (Q2573875)

The authors study the problem of constrained interpolation by parametric space curves with planes as constraints. Thus the works of \textit{T. N. T. Goodman, B. H. Ong} and \textit{K. Unsworth} [``Constrained interpolation using rational cubic splines'', in NURBS for curve and surface design, Collect. Pap. SIAM Conf. Geom. Des., Tempe/AZ (USA) 1990, 59--74 (1991; Zbl 0772.41001)] and \textit{D. S. Meek, B. H. Ong} and \textit{D. J. Walton} [Comput. Aided Geom. Des. 20, 253--275 (2003; Zbl 1069.41512)] are extended from the two to the three dimensional setting.
