Optimality of embeddings of Bessel-potential-type spaces into generalized Hölder spaces (Q2574017)

Embeddings of Bessel-potential spaces modelled on Lorentz--Karamata spaces into generalized Hölder spaces are studied. All the spaces are defined on nonempty domains of \({\mathbb R}^n\). The boundedness, sharpness and compactness of the embeddings are discussed. Under suitable assumptions concerning the parameters, the authors prove that the embeddings are continuous and sharp, but not compact.
