An integral lift of the Rochlin invariant of spherical 3-manifolds and finite surgery (Q2574029)

Using an integral lift of the Rochlin invariant, the author gives a criterion for a spherical 3-manifold to be obtained by surgery on a knot in the 3-sphere. In particular, he shows that a nontrivial surgery on any amphicheiral hyperbolic knot in the 3-sphere does not produce a spherical 3-manifold.
