The \(b\)-functions for prehomogeneous vector spaces of commutative parabolic type and universal generalized Verma modules (Q2574367)

Let \(G\) be a connected, simply-connected simple algebraic group. Let \(P\) be a parabolic subgroup such that the unipotent radical of \(P\) is commutative. In this paper the author determines the \(b\)-functions of the invariants of \(G/P\) using universal generalized Verma modules. This paper makes an important contribution to the geometry of the flag manifolds \(G/P\).
