In [Pac. J. Math. 175, No. 2, 439--446 (1996; Zbl 0865.53010)], \textit{J. Choe} proved that every stationary polyhedral set of \(\mathbb{R}^n\) is area-minimizing under the diffeomorphisms of \(\mathbb{R}^n\) leaving its boundary fixed. In this paper the author extends Choe's ideas and proves a sufficient condition for a certain type of calibrated surfaces in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), including stationary polyhedral sets, to be area-minimizing under the diffeomorphisms of \(\mathbb{R}^n\) leaving their boundaries fixed. For stationary polyhedral sets, this sufficient condition is also necessary. The author also provides new polyhedral sets over the so-called right prisms and first examples of non-polyhedral calibrated surfaces.
