Generalized Verlinde formulae for some Riemann surface automorphisms (Q2575235)

This article develops the generalized Verlinde formulae expressing traces of higher genus mapping classes of finite order given by \textit{P. Bantay} [J. Geom. Phys. 48, No.~1, 44--51 (2003; Zbl 1029.81063)]. Using the formulae, it presents the congruence relations on allowed modular representations of certain Riemann surfaces with automorphisms, e.g., the modular curve \(\chi(11)\) and a factor curve of \(\chi(8)\).
