The goal is to develop a comprehensive automated solution methodology that is capable of handling the design of mechanical systems and control design concurrently. Using the proposed methodology, manufacturing tolerances can be automatically allocated to ensure the acceptable performance while avoiding excessively tight tolerances. An example that was solved to evaluate this methodology is given.
