The authors solve various Volterra integral equations of the form \[ D^\alpha_\tau h(\tau) = \int_0^\tau h(\tau-\zeta)k(\zeta)\, d\zeta + f(\tau), \] where \(D^\alpha_\tau\) is a fractional derivative and \(k\) is for example of the form \(\lambda \zeta^{\gamma-1}F(\zeta)\) where \(F\) is constructed from a generalized Lauricella confluent hypergeometric function. The point here is that the Laplace transform of the kernel can be explicitly calculated and thus formulas for the solutions, suitable for computation, can be obtained.
