Some important properties of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Topological Spaces are studied. Let \(A = \{\langle A, \nu_A \rangle | x \in X\}\) and \(B = \{\langle x, \nu_B \rangle | x \in X\}\) be two Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs). \(A\) quasicoincides with \(B\) (we denote this by \(A\text{q}B\)) if \(\mu_A\) quasicoincides with \(\mu_B\) and \(\nu_A\) quasicoincides with \(\nu_B\). If \((X,\tau)\) is an IFTS and \(p\) is an Intuitionistic Fuzzy Point (IFP) in \(X\), then the intuitionistic fuzzy set \(N\) of \(X\) is called \(Q\)-neighborhood of \(p\) if there exists an IFS \(A\) of \((X,\tau)\) such that \(p\text{q}A\) and \(A \subset N\). The following assertion is the most important result in the paper. Theorem Let \((X,\tau)\) be an IFTS, \(p\) be an IFP of \(X\), and let \(U_Q(p)\) be the family of all \(Q\)-neighborhoods of \(p\) in \((X,\tau)\). Then (1) \(N \in U_Q(p)\) implies that \(p\text{q}N\), (2) \(N_1, N_2 \in U_Q(p)\) imply that \(N_1 \cup N_2 \in U_Q(p)\), (3) if \(N \in U_Q(p)\) and \(N \subset M\), then \(M \in U_Q(p)\), (4) if \(N \in U_Q(p)\), there exists \(M \in U_Q(p)\), \(M \subset N\), such that, for every IFP \(e\) which quasicoincides with \(M\), \(M \in U_Q(e)\).
