The paper provides new results on the control of discrete linear repetitive processes which formulate and solve the fundamental problem of finding an admissible controller such that the \(H_{\infty }\) norm of a transfer function matrix satisfies a scalar magnitude constraint. A guaranteed cost control problem is also solved. The designs in both cases have been solved by using linear matrix inequalities.
