The authors study the Bonferroni curve, and the Bonferroni index that is based on it. They show how to express the Bonferroni curve by means of the mean residual life function, and vice versa. They also get bounds on the Bonferroni index. A Bonferroni ordering (that is closely related to the Lorenz ordering) is introduced, and some of its properties are studied. Some statistical inference for the Bonferroni curve is developed in this paper.
