The main goal of the paper under review is not only to establish a basis for the theory of Lorentzian Kleinian groups but also to construct and study nontrivial examples of this class of groups. Lorentzian Kleinian groups are defined as discrete subgroups of \(O(2,n),\) acting freely and properly discontinuously on some nonempty open subset of \(\text{Ein}_n.\) In the paper, Lorentzian Möbius dynamics, i.e., the dynamical study of divergent sequences of \(O(2,n)\) acting on \(\text{Ein}_n\), is established. One of the main results (see Theorem 1) deals with nice properties for the limit set of the first type subgroups \(\Gamma\) of \(O(2,n)\) acting properly on \(\text{AdS}_{n+1}.\) In Theorem 2, an analogue of the well-known Combination Theorem due to Klein is obtained [see \textit{B. N. Apanasov}, Conformal geometry of discrete groups and manifolds. De Gruyter Expositions in Mathematics. 33. (Berlin: De Gruyter) (2000; Zbl 0965.57001); \textit{B. Maskit}, Kleinian groups (Springer-Verlag, Berlin) (1988; Zbl 0627.30039)]. Moreover, several examples of families of Lorentzian Kleinian groups are given. The author also provides an application of Theorem 2 to construct a Lorentzian Schottky group in Theorem 3.
