The author [J.\ Math. Sci., New York 103, 631--637 (2001); translation from Stat. Metody Otsen. Proverki Gipotez 1998, 174--185 (1998; Zbl 0980.60069)] defined a Poisson path integral (PPI) and studied its properties. In the present (mainly expository) paper a more simple definition of a PPI is given which, however, does not differ fundamentally from the original one. Various results, without proofs, are then given concerning general properties of PPIs, differential-difference equations and PPIs, multiple PPIs, and estimation of functionals of intensity.
