Characteristic modules of dual extensions and Gröbner bases. (Q2577676)

The authors describe the characteristic tilting modules and their Ringel duals explicitly for a class of quasi-hereditary algebras. The results in the paper extend some of the results in an earlier paper by the reviewer [\textit{C.-C. Xi}, Sci. China, Ser. A 43, No. 11, 1121-1130 (2000; Zbl 1026.16003)]. The new idea which leads to the more general results in the paper is that the authors prove the existence of a left Gröbner basis theory in the sense of \textit{E. L. Green} [J. Symb. Comput. 29, No. 4-5, 601-623 (2000; Zbl 1002.16043)] for the class of quasi-hereditary algebras considered and their tilting modules. The methods in this paper might be used for the determination of characteristic tilting modules over other classes of quasi-hereditary algebras and their Ringel duals.
