This paper is concerned with the set of lattice identities satisfied by various lattices of convex sets in \(\mathbb R^n\). The main lattices examined are as follows: the lattice of convex subsets of \(\mathbb R^n\); that of convex subsets of \(\mathbb R^n\) which contain the origin; that of compact convex subsets of \(\mathbb R^n\); and that of open, bounded subsets of \(\mathbb R^n\). For each pair of these lattices it is determined whether or not they satisfy the same lattice identities. In order to show that the identities satisfied in the lattice of compact convex sets are the same as those satisfied in that of convex sets in general, the following property is used: Let \(\text{ cl}\) be a finitary closure operator on a set \(X\), let \(L\) denote the lattice of \(\text{ cl}\)-closed subsets of \(X\), and let \(L^\prime\) denote the sublattice of \(L\) generated by the \(\text{ cl}\)-closures of the singleton sets; then the lattice identities satisfied in \(L\) and in \(L^\prime\) are the same. Among the types of lattice identities studied are those involving \(n\)-distributivity, dual \(n\)-distributivity, and join and meet semidistributivity. The paper ends with some results concerning lattices of relatively convex subsets of \(S\), for certain subsets \(S\) of \(\mathbb R^n\).
