III. In dieser Fortsetzung der Artikel I. und II. (Proc. Akad. Wet. Amsterdam 44 (1941), 1045-1051, 1177-1184; F.~d.~M.~67, 958) wird die Wirkung aller in der Flüssigkeit suspendierten Teilchen auf die Sinkgeschwindigkeit jedes einzelnen von ihnen ermittelt. IV. Dieser letzte Artikel der Reihe behandelt den Einfluß der Gefäßwände auf die Sedimentierungsgeschwindigkeit. Der Verf. schließt mit der Bemerkung, daß in späterer Zeit eine wirksamere (more efficient) Methode zur Lösung dieser Probleme gefunden werden möge.
