The goal of this work is to obtain a new comparison principle for weak solutions of the Cauchy problem for a wide class of quasilinear parabolic inequalities of the form \[ u_t-A(u)\leq V_t-A(v) \] in the strip \(S_T=(0,T)\times\mathbb{R}^N\), \(0<T<\infty\), \(N\geq 1\). A typical example of the operator \(A(w)\) is the \(p\)-Laplacian. This is a nonlinear result that has no analogue in linear theory.
