    For a special family of multivariate dyadic orthonormal wavelets, this paper characterizes the support of the Fourier transform of its mother wavelet function. More precisely, in Theorem~1, the author shows that if \(\{\psi_\mu\}_{\mu\in E_d/\{0\}}\) with \(E_d:=\{0,1\}^d\) a set of \(2^d-1\) functions in \(L_2(\mathbb R^d)\) such that \(\{ 2^{dj/2}\psi_\mu(2^j \cdot-k)\; : \; j\in \mathbb Z, k\in \mathbb Z^d\}\) is an orthonormal basis of \(L_2(\mathbb R^d)\), and if \[ \displaystyle \cup_{\mu\in E_d/\{0\}} \text{supp}\{ \widehat {\psi_\mu}\}=\prod_{i=1}^d [A_i, D_i]-\prod_{i=1}^d (B_i, C_i), \quad A_i\leq B_i\leq C_i\leq D_i, \] and if each \(| \widehat{\psi_\mu}| \) is continuous for \(\omega\in \partial(\prod_{i=1}^d [A_i, D_i])\), then for \(i=1, \ldots, d\), \[ B_i<0<C_i, \quad 2B_i\leq A_i/2<B_i,\quad C_i< D_i/2\leq 2C_i, \] and \[ C_i-2\pi=A_i/2, \quad B_i+2\pi=D_i/2. \] The main result, Theorem~1 of this paper, improves a result in [\textit{R. L. Long}, ``Multidimensional wavelet analysis'', Springer-Verlag, Beijing (1995), per bibl].
