In der vorstehend besprochenen Note wurde ein Beispiel dafür gegeben, daß das Quadrat eines abgeschlossenen symmetrischen Operators einen nichtdichten Definitionsbereich haben kann. Es wird bewiesen, daß der Definitionsbereich sogar nur aus dem Nullelement besteht.
