One of the main tools in (a certain flavour of) modern homotopy theory is the notion of a Quillen model structure on a category. In light of recent work of Lurie it is becoming increasingly convenient to think of a model structure as a presentation of a quasicategory (a particular flavour of \(\infty\)-category). The very short abstract of the article, which reads: ``We prove that a Quillen adjunction of model categories induces a canonical adjunction of underlying quasicategories'' expresses a common expectation. The aim of this very well-written paper is to establish this expectation in a precise form, and this turns out to be quite challenging. The article gets right to business, and requires some familiarity with foundational modern results of homotopy theory a la Quillen, including some acquaintance with Lurie's approach to quasicategories. The article also included a very interesting historical survey of known partial answers to the main question answered fully in the article itself. The article addresses a very fundamental question in the theory of model categories, and serves well to elucidate the role the concept of model category in the general theme of homotopy theory. It is of interest to experts as well as to those encountering model categories for the first time, as it is an excellent supplementary discussion for anybody who wishes to obtain a very insightful perspective on what model categories are all about.
