Die Geschwindigkeitsverteilung einer turbulenten Strömung durch ein Rohr mit Kreisringquerschnitt wird auf Grund der Kármánschen Ähnlichkeitstheorie der Turbulenz berechnet. Die Benutzung der Schubspannungsgleichung liefert gute Übereinstimmung, die Verwendung der Impulsgleichung dagegen schlechte Übereinstimmung mit dem Experiment.
