Die Berechnung der turbulenten Strömung durch ein Rohr mit Kreisringquerschnitt (siehe die vorstehend besprochenen Arbeiten) wird für die Wirbeltransporttheorie mit symmetrischer Turbulenz wiederholt. Diese Ergebnisse stimmen mit dem Experiment besser überein als die früheren.
